Welcome back to the latest Top 10 Most Pirated Applications. Another week, another dive into the depths of the world of the top desktop software torrents.

It’s an exciting week in the world of torrents, Microsoft has released its Technical Preview for the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. As a result, the Top 10 is flooded with Windows 10 releases. These releases are downloaded by users who are looking to do testing on the new operating systems or to keep up with the bleeding edge of software development. Many of these are duplicates and are merely there because the uploaders wanted to get in on the Windows 10 craze in order to boost their reputation.

If we look past the Windows 10 releases we see some regulars to the Top 10. A new Internet Download Manager has been released, along with new Antivirus serial keys, and even another Windows 8.1 release. Beyond that there is a new Nero 2015 release as well as a new CCleaner release.

Moving forward we expect to see more Windows 10 popularity, likely including versions that have been customized by the cracking group. It’s also possible that we’ll see more Windows 8.1 releases as people prepare for Windows 10 Release Client sometime in 2015. We’ll continue to monitor the Windows traffic and watch for new trends as more and more users flock to acquire it.
