swmalta-logoOur love and passion for startups is never ending! In our continued support for budding entrepreneurs in the tech industry, we are pleased to announce that this year Trackerbird will be sponsoring the StartupWeekend event being held at SmartCity Malta on 7 June 2013.

Trackerbird's participation in the event includes:

  1. Trackerbird's CEO will be part of the mentoring team, offering participants valuable business advice as well as technical expertise.
  2. Every participating team will receive a Trackerbird Startup Booster Package for 12 months (worth $300).
  3. The overall winning team will receive an additional $200 credit voucher to spend on upgrades or other Trackerbird services.

Apart from using web analytics to measure marketing performance, a software startup also needs to know how the audience is reacting to their product. One way of doing this would be to measure how users are engaging with their software and collect feedback from their target audience.

We strongly believe that by using the correct metrics to measure a company's performance right from the very beginning, a startup team can stay on track and use their funding more wisely by measuring the ROI for every move/decision they take. Of course it is also critical to NOT waste any time building or customizing complex measurement tools since this will push the company away from building the actual product, hence defeating the whole point!

Having access to free tools such as Google Analytics and Trackerbird, will enable software startups to grow their products without wasting any time building their own tracking solution.

We would like to wish good luck to all participating teams. You may get more information on Trackerbird's sponsorship from the official swMalta blog.
