We are pleased to announce the release of the new Trackerbird Software Analytics Reporting API. This API is targeted for advanced users who would like to build their own dashboards or integrate Trackerbird reports into third party applications. The API can also be used to export runtime intelligence data out of the Trackerbird servers for archiving or custom processing by other BI solutions.

Powerful API with a simple interface

With the Trackerbird reporting API you can easily achieve the following:

  • Embed readily formatted reporting widgets from Trackerbird into your CRM.
  • Build a custom dashboard using live data feeds from Trackerbird.
  • Export Trackerbird data in raw JSON format to import into other BI solutions.
  • Take full advantage of the Trackerbird Analytics engine by using advanced regex filters and segmentation.
  • Report on license key usage/abuse and sync license keys with your CRM or licensing framework.

In the future the API will also be expanded to allow management of ReachOut Campaigns and perform other advanced management tasks.

Raw data or formatted charts

The API can be accessed via HTTPS using either POST or GET requests. In the request you can simply specify whether you want data in raw JSON format or else in pre-formatted HTML charts/tables that you can easily embed inside an iframe or web-page without any processing.

Try it out for free

Please check out the API documentation for code samples and a quick start guide on how to use this API. The new API will be made available to all Premium Trackerbird accounts. However during the BETA period it will also be available for testing on Freeware accounts. If you are a new Trackerbird customer and do not yet have a premium account, please do get in touch with our customer support helpdesk and we will be pleased to assist you in evaluating the API.
