DOJ Bags a Cracker

The Department of Justice announced a felony conviction from Operation Fastlink.

From the description, the individual appears to be "cracker." These are individuals recruited by piracy groups to disable or remove licensing, copy protection, and software protection. The announcement does not suggest who the affiliated groups are, but this individual must have had significant piracy activity to warrant the attention of DOJ.
